OIL WAX DENIM
Handcrafted in Europe from heavyweight 20oz denim, the Oil Wax Denim is treated through a multi-stage waxing and heat-curing process that gives each pair its distinctive luster and dense, sculptural texture. The surface carries a deep, liquid-like sheen that shifts under light—achieved through layered hand-application of wax and resin blends unique to Onyx’s in-house formula. Each panel is reinforced with double flatlock stitching for structure, while the body of the pant maintains a rigid drape that gradually molds to the wearer over time. With embossed text detailing pressed into the wax finish, this piece bridges art and utility—an embodiment of Onyx’s luxury craftsmanship and raw experimentation.
